About us……

Paint Creek United Methodist Church is located in Oakland Township, approximately 5 miles North of Rochester and 5 miles South of Lake Orion, Michigan. Built in 1855, we are an historic church with charm.
What makes us unique?
-We are an historic building built in 1855 (purchased for $1.00 and moved by horse and buggy in 1887)
-As of November, 2009, we have a new minister, Pastor Tom Sayers (newly licensed & appointed by the Bishop, Detroit Conference Cabinet, & Port Huron District Superintendent and Board of Ordained Ministers)
-We welcome dogs at our services & have several regularly attend (some even sit in the pew and attend church meetings!)
-Two 5th generation descendents (sisters Colleen Barkham & Becky Plunkett) from the original Lay Minister, Pastor Toms, attend weekly and the 7th generation baptism was held this year.
We invite everyone to join us at our Sunday Worship Service at 11:00 a.m.! And beloved four legged canine family members on a leash are welcome, too!
